Mason Cable Network
is the student operated television network airing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to approximately 5,000 residents on the Fairfax Campus. MCN has been serving the George Mason Community for 10 years and has thrived on the network’s signature motto “your face, your voice.”

George Yanez – Senior Producer
is a senior Film and Video Studies major with a minor in Business at GMU. George is the longest serving member of MCN currently on staff. He wears many hats at Mason and is deeply involved in the life of the University. He can be seen around campus either at the STAR Lab, the Student Video Center, or working with the Programming Board to plan and organize events. He is currently in production with his senior film project titled "Sleeper Star." George is also the treasurer of Gamma Mu Chapter of Phi Kappa Theta.

David Miller – Student Media Advisor to MCN
Professor Miller joined the MCN team in the Fall of 2009. He brings 13 years of experience in Academia and is a freelance producer. He teaches courses in Videography, Producing and Directing for Television, and Electronic News Gathering and Editing among others for the Communication Department. He is also the supervisor of the Student Video Center and is a media advisor to Connect2Mason. David is currently analyzing the systems and processes of MCN in hopes of strengthening its structure and ensuring its long-term viability as a public service to the Mason community.
